My main hard drive "C" was too bloated with all my itunes files so with the help of itunes I figured out how to transfer tham all to my secondary drive "G" .
Now I still have all those files on c, I ran dupe away and I have literally thousands of multiple files listed. Dupe away seems to have chosen the C file o keep and all the G files to delete. DO I really have to go through manually and switch each of these one at a time ? Can I instruct dupe away to keep only 1 G copies and delete all the rest ?
There’s not currently a criteria preference for preferring a track on one hard drive over the next, and you can see the priority list in Dupe Away Preferences on the Keep Which Version tab. I assume most of the G drive files are going to be more “Recently Added”, so you could try dragging the Recently Added priority up the list to the top and try running another scan.
