File Format for Saved Voicemails

When Voicemails are saved from a iphone to a PC using IExplorer, what format are they saved in and how can they be accessed and played back on the PC? Is there any loos of fidelity and are they saved with any attached or associated metadata such as date of creation and source telephone numbers or names?

iExplorer literally copies voicemails in their original format which is AMR and doesn’t convert or alter the audio content of those files in any way, but we have a free app called Adapter that will let you convert the files to almost any format that you need.
